• Optimize Welding process.
• Supervising PQR and witness test at laboratory.
• Preparing welding procedure specification.
• Determine joint Design.
• Applying code and specification requirement to the proposed WPS.
• Assesses quantity of production weld testing required and ensures their timely performance and testing.
• Management and coordination of welding procedure non-destructive and destructive testing.
• Coordinate and discuss problems with client if necessary audit project
• Request NDT as required by code & piping specification (RT,PT,MPI) Up dating daily QC Documentation.
• Having experience in inspection of welded joints for surfaces defects using fluorescent and non-fluorescent penetrant method.
• Request NDT required by code & piping specification (RT,PT, MPT) up dating daily QC documentation.
• Review drawings, inspection test plan specifications and procedure.
• Oversees line checking and inspection activities such as flanges, gasket, valves, bolts, nuts, and alignment parallelism.
• Coordinate with the fabrication team engineer supervisor for material handling, erection and lifting.
• Quality check of materials and specification details.
• Involvement in hydro-test and pneumatic test, package preperation.
• Handle quality check in the installation of spacer ring, valves, gaskets, bolts and nuts.
• Inspection and erection of piping system as per approved Isometric drawings.
• Codes: EN 3834, ASME IX, ASME 31.3, API 1104 & AWS D1.1.
• Eurocode 1990; 1991; 1992; 1993; 1994; 1995; 1998 and 1999.
