Networking evening event on November 11, 2019 with opening of the accompanying exhibition

The increasing number of assistance functions, the growing networking and the vision of autonomous driving are constantly presenting vehicle developers with new challenges.
High flexibility, fast transmission speed and an enormous potential of cost savings make innovative bus systems a key element in modern vehicles, opening up new possibilities for designing innovative applications and future E/E architecture implementations.

At this year’s English international conference Automotive Networks 2019 on November 12, 2019, representatives of the automotive industry will offer deep insights in the requirements and trends of E/E architectures and vehicle networking. The event will provide participating OEMs, suppliers or semiconductor vendors with an overview of the current discussion on function and service-oriented architectures and the enabaling networking technologies including Automotive Ethernet, CAN and SerDes that address the challenge of autonomous driving and increasing safety requirements.

The main topics at Automotive Networks 2019 are:

• Future E/E architecture: Function and service-oriented architecture
• IVN technologies as enabler technologies: CAN, Ethernet, SerDes

Dr. Günter Reichart (formerly BMW Group) is chairman of the advisory board and supported by the expert board members: Harald Eisele (formerly Opel Automobile GmbH), Dr. Oliver Creighton (BMW Group), Jürgen Röder (Continental), Dr. Thomas Galla (Elektrobit), David Weinrauch (Ford-Werke GmbH), Rüdiger Roppel (Dr. Ing. h.c.
